Septic Install FAQ

Once permits are approved (typically 2–6 weeks depending on county), the physical installation takes 2–4 days for a standard system. Mound systems may take 3–5 days. We coordinate the inspection so there's no delay after install.
Most counties require a perc test and soil evaluation before issuing a septic permit. We schedule and perform the perc test as part of the project — you don't need to hire a separate engineer in most cases.
Conventional systems work where soil has adequate drainage. Mound systems are required on high water table, shallow bedrock, or poor-draining soils — common in parts of CNY. We evaluate your site and recommend the right system type.
