Commercial Earthwork Built on Central New York Relationships

Backwell is a Syracuse-based commercial excavation contractor. We handle site preparation, demolition, underground utilities, and large-scale earthwork across Onondaga, Oswego, Madison, Cayuga, and Oneida counties.

What We Do

Why This Matters for Clients

When you hire Backwell, you are hiring a contractor that operates inside a broader real estate and construction ecosystem. Our team sees every side of a project: the developer buying land, the property manager operating it, and the contractor breaking ground. That context shows up in the questions we ask, the sequencing we recommend, and the problems we catch before they become change orders.

If you own or operate rental property and need excavation, site prep, or demolition on a commercial or multi-family site, talk to us. If you already work with a property manager in Central New York and they need excavation support, have them call us directly at (315) 400-2654.
